Locked down. No on there. Mute's corner more like. Nice park though.
Probably quiet during the current pandemic but in normal times but at the north eastern corner of Hyde Park there has been a longstanding tradition of public speakers on their soap boxes with their attendant hecklers.
Clean, tidy. Good information, however missing the old speakers box location
This place gives me so much energy, open minded people who are ready to be challenged and proven wrong. You meet really charismatic people there. At one point, i was going there on a weekly basis. Can't wait for summer to start again.
Always a good place for a walk and to see what people are debating. Can get raucous sometimes but never any trouble. Great on Sundays for some reason I'm yet to understand.
Speakers' Corner is located at northeast corner of Hyde Park by Marble Arch. Since 1872, Londoners can lawfully make speeches on Sunday to anyone who will listen and this tradition still lives on encouraging public discourse and spirited social engagement. You can walk around the park and listen to the speakers in.
