Absolutely brilliant steak pie but I would have had a bowl of gravy and chips as it was outstanding. Nice pub, staff were all very accommodating and again lots of sanitisation stations, masks etc. Felt very comfortable

Very welcoming place that makes you feel a truly Scottish vibe. Food is really good with reasonable prices, I went twice furing my getaway in Edinburgh and I will more likely go back the next time

Went to the pipers rest twice. First day had some grest food and loved the deep fried marsbar! Went back the second night as was a great place to drink and the bombs were a great price. Dejan was a star on both nights and pretty much why we came back!

This place is amzing. Touched lucky  getting a table and we're so glad we were. The food is unbelievably good and not a lot of money either. Can't wait to go back in December again

Great place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. All the right COVID precautions in place and the food was very tasty Scottish fayre. Would go for a relaxing lunch on a rainy day.

A decent place. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The ‘declaration chicken’ dish I had was nice, while my partner’s vegetarian burger was more mixed the haggis was nice, but the vegetarian pattie was not great.

Do go on and try their chicken wings! Really recommend the Nuclear Hot & Garlic Mayo sauce  also thumbs up for the service - didn't catch our waiter's name but he was from France! Top notch service, good food, and AMAZING prices.
