I was very impressed with the customer service skills and product knowledge from an employee called George when I was in the store today. I asked him for his recommendation on how to make my spaghetti Bolognese creamier and he recommended that I added green yoghurt to the recipe, it was a very good idea. This proves how extensive the product knowledge is off the employees in this branch.
It was a great shopping experience in Spar. I was a graduate student 8 years ago, and I went to Spar for some vegetables and fruits. However, it was so embarrassed that I could not tell the difference between coins while checking out at the counter, since I was a foreigner and not familiar with them. The employee who helped me check out was not happy about it. I felt so sorry and nervous. At that moment, an old gentleman, maybe shopkeeper I guess, he came to us and asked the employee to try to be nice to me, because I just didn’t get used to it. I was totally overwhelmed! He was such a warm and considerate person. Not sure whether he is still there or not. Anyway, thank you so much for giving me an impressive shopping experience!
It could be improved, but so spar, so good. There are lots of types of noodles here. I love noodles.
Lovely shopping experience! Lots of quality of produce however the one thing lacking was bread.
Good place for cheap breakfast, lunch, and dinner especially for ones who are broking their wallets and budget.
Only ever shopped here when I was waiting for my supermarket delivery for goods I ran out of. Ridiculous prices on nearly everything and would need an extra student loan if you were to buy all 3 meals from here. Make sure to do your food shop online to avoid the price gouging on the student audience here.
Worse client treat I have ever received
Completely overpriced, but hey, they have a monopoly on campus more or less. It always seems to be a bit dirty, quality of products is pretty standard you'll struggle to find anything organic though. Staff is friendly most of the time
Extortionate pricing, good range for emergency prices but clearly just exploite the fact they are one of the only options for food on campus
It’s nice that there is a market inside the campus. However, I have seen many products in other markets in literally the half price. I wouldn’t recommend it at all
