Brilliant theatre, wonderful acoustics and lighting when we went to watch the Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Well organised by lovely people.
We were here a few months back and made a summer return to see a Neil Simon play. Lovely theatre with a great roasted coffee ice cream.
They do the absolute best comedy nights.
Great little theatre, great evening listening to songbird Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Could do with staff watching the doors on entry as it was a freezing night and we had to wait outside because entry blocked by people queueing for the bar. Luckily a gentleman in the queue realised what was happening and ushered everyone in to bypass queue.
Fifty years since the building was restored after war damage, this offers a pleasingly retro environment to enjoy theatre and arts activities.
If you are deaf and require the use of a loop system to hear clearly, this is not the place to go. In spite of the fact that it is the law to provide this service I have been there on three separate occasions in the past year. The last two times I have asked if the loop system is switched on and have been informed on both occasions that it was, but guess what on both occasions it was not working. On informing them, the excuse the first time was that the loop was on but the visiting performers had used their own amplifiers which were not plugged into the loop system and the second time on telling them I received a shrug of the shoulders and that they would "speak to someone".
Lovely venue but could really do with some crowd control for popular shows! It has disabled access but it's tough to get to, the pavement outside is broken and uneven with cars all over the place, so he warned if coming in a wheelchair or with a rolator etc.
Slaughter in Southwold weekend. Really enjoyed it. Thank you for all your hard work Charlotte and team.
Great little theatre.
Went to see Abba tribute band for brain cancer charity, brilliant night
