This place was surprising, and we actually caught a lady who filled us in on some of the history of the church. I love chatting with local guides and getting the inside scope of a place. Historian buffs would love this place, and I can just say well worth a visit.
What a beautiful building clean outdoors we'll kept place. While walking around the building we bumped into a nice lady invited us in to have a look around. Vast. Far bigger than you would expect to see in such a small village. Was impressed with the range of exhibits and the modern Christian artworks around the building. Would have liked to have taken in a service but turned up too late. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.Visited onWeekday

Truly stunning, beautifully situated with on road parking to the front and a public carpark just across the road to one side. I have visited many times over the years, for events, funerals or just to soak up the atmosphere. Each time I visit I spot something new, whilst there explore the beautiful town of Southwell.

Stunning cathedral with attentive staff on hand. The surroundings are also good. The adjoining café is of high quality
Came across this incredible place as we were visiting the nearby National Trust workhouse. The gentleman volunteer on arrival was so kind and welcoming. The building is truly impressive, especially the way they have designed the interior lighting to shine through towards the ceiling.
