The gardens were looking absolutely lovely, a tribute to all the hard working gardeners! Great hot chocolate and cake selection in the cafe which was working very effectively within covid restrictions. A good day out.
A lovely green space in Portsmouth, perfect in the summer for sunbathing, meeting friends and having a BBQ. Just off from the seafront with beautiful views.
The common reaches from old Portsmouth all along the southern edge of the island. The common itself has benefited from both planting and development and is a popular destination for those in search of fresh air and exercise. The new sea wall works are being carried out sympathetically and do not disturb the pleasant surroundings.
I love this place. Great atmosphere and people having a good time. There's a park and a big field where in the summer it's very popular for BBQs. People are friendly and mainly keeping themselves to themselves.

Weekend too many people on prom for my liking. Free parking didn't help, every space taking. I don't know what there thinking, no police presence.
Beautiful area in a busy city very tranquil only downside for me is all the dog mess not picked up by selfish dog owners. Great views across to Isle of Wight and you get to see the hovercraft.
A big green field. It was exactly what it is claiming to be. I will recommend Southsea Common to anyone who is looking for about an acre of grass near the beach.
Always love walking the dog down here. Always great vibes and a great community vibe when it's summer time. There is lots to do for all ages here all within walking distance.
