Wonderful day out, lots of fun for all ages and do much more than just flowers. Needs more parking.

Although a resident in Southport for 3 years, this was my first visit to the show as I had hitherto heeded warnings from friends of the show`s lack of appeal and value for money.Having just returned from the show I can confirm that they were right! I bought advance tickets for myself and my wife @ £19 each and also had to pay £6 for the official car park which was a 5 minute walk away. I could have parked free at Morrison`s for 3 hours but I had anticipated spending more time than that at the show. Wrong! We had seen enough in well under 3 hours. At least 80% of the exhibitors were trade stands selling a variety of loosely garden related goods at inflated prices and whilst there were a small number of actual garden displays these were rather uninspiring. Yes, there were several huge marquees sparsely stocked with amateur flower displays but very well stocked with trade plant displays/sales. There were many more marquees displaying so-called "craft" items and selling overpriced groceries (mostly tiny pies with exotic names for £3 upwards!). There were the usual bunch of hopefuls trying to offload hot tubs (is there a market for these any more?) and gimmicky gadgets that break when you get them home (will people never learn?). All in all a disappointing (and expensive) "day?" out. Never again. I think a stroll down Lord Street (or charity alley as its now known) is less boring than this!

Had a wonderful day out. All the displays, exhibits and shows were fantastic. Well done to all the people responsible for putting together a wonderful flower show. Can't wait for next year.

Excellent show. Can't wait for next year . We had a fabulous day and the weather was beautiful. Lots to do & see Its a must attraction😍😍😍
