I recently spent 10 days in ward 7B. The care I received was excellent from both the medical staff, and the more domestic staff. Despite some staff shortages and the exceptional heat the staff were efficient, helpful and very kind. The room was good, and air-conditioned. And the food was surprisingly good as well!. Thankyou to all that cared for me. Sue Marshall .during my stay

A midnight visit to A&E dept via ambulance. The paramedics were fantastic and went above and beyond during the wait to get into A&E. Hospital staff also so nice friendly and efficient and doctor very thorough and caring. Only the ambulance was not allowed to take myself and a frail 89 year old lady home after being discharged. Had to get a taxi which was traumatic at 4am in the morning.

The ward teams are phenomenal, There seems to be zero empathy or knowledge within the A&E nurses. Also they have zero support available if suffering with mental health. Please reach out through your GP for assistance with mental health. Southmead hospital is broken badly as a patient that has been in there more regularly than most in a lifetime. It is not a political issue or money it is and has been extremely poorly managed. They used to do better with a lot less and In wartime buildings

Five star care from Southmead for my daughter as a day patient undergoing a procedure. Thank you to the Cotswold centre for your fantastic care today. You made a difficult day so much better. Our NHS is certainly the best there is

Superb facilities and nursing staff who provided great care for my mum in her final days.

I have just spent 8 days in southmead hospital having caught a viral infection and pneumonia.  I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the doctors, nurses and consultants who were involved in my care. I was kept informed of my progress all the way through my treatment and if I didn't understand something they were only to happy to explain it. Thank you to all for getting me well.

5 years later and I’m still her when they all thought I was not going to pull through. But every day I think of the brilliant nurses,Doctors,tea lady and cleaners that too great care of me . Big thank you I’m sure the nurses remember me . Big thanks Alan Franklin from Wales Stroke Ward

Whilst I had a long wait in A&E the staff went above and beyond to assist me with my broken kneecap and DVT. I needed assistance to get around and was treated with the utmost care and consideration at all times. It’s a shame all NHS services aren’t as well coordinated and efficient. Thank you to everyone involved in my care

Switchboard is hopeless. Having tried to get through to a booking department who had previously rung me   I was allegedly first in the queue and still waited 30 minutes . Clearly there was nobody there every time I asked to be put through to different department I got put through to the same one 3 times even before I finished my conversation trying to explain. Seems they just want to get rid of you. Once I was asked to wait and they hung up. An hour of my life wasted and theirs as now they have to ring me back again. No wonder NHS has backlogs there appears to be no common sense or patient care.

Went in Thursday afternoon to get a foot x-ray. It was a pleasant experience, great vending machines. The waiting area was clean and the staff were all excellent.
