I did not know you had a space limit, I have never managed to fill this before!nnIssue 1 - they made an error this rent leading to a build up of arrears and sent out a letter to this effect causing alarm and distress. It did get sorted, and it was there mistake and monthly instalments were made. TIP - double check that what they say they are going to charge you via their direct debit is actually what is leaving your bank account.nnIssue 2 - they refused to accept my Father back to the home following what was initially a sort stay in hospital. This lead to a long stay, subsequently a reasonably fit for his age man has never got out of bed since. No one at the home spoke to any family member about this! There is no doubt in my mind this has had a severely detrimental effect on my Father.nnIssue 3 - Notice is given both by e-mail and writing nicely typed letter 28 days notice. Agreement with the housing manager on site what I can move out, and that 1 single other item which was brought in with my father could not be moved, key handed over. As part of that notice, the actions we would all reasonably expect a competent person or system to complete is stop charging the bank account....? You guessed it, they kept on charging, and it was only found out when something was paid in, in an actual branch difficult to find these days, so I was a bit annoyed and confused. Complained, told that the housing manager will call back tomorrow, changed up 3 days later, told that they had 48 hours to respond, complained that its a refund, why can't you do it? Then told, the lease agreement is with your Father and the housing association, only he can claim the refund. My Father is not well enough, well only someone with POA can do it. SERIOUSLY. I AM LIVID! - this issue is not resolved.nnIssue 4 - Once notice had been given, I set about the task of moving stuff out. Told them light not working, told to log it. Logged it on the portal, trust me do it on a computer not mobile friendly. 3 weeks. later still not fixed, asked the housing manager about it on a really dark and dull day, they said unless someone tasks them with something, they do not know about it. What is the point of having someone on site, who is not aware of the issues that have been logged for that site. Bad enough they are hardly ever there, but when they are, you would expect them to have oversight and knowledge of issues, even if they are going to require someone else to fix it. In this case, they fixed it right way so I think it was a fuse that tripped. They said, it happens when a light goes, but all the lights were working, so why had the fuse tripped? Unless it was switched off??nnTHE CARE STAFF, CATERING STAFF, ALL OTHER NON MGTnnThese people I can not fault, nor say enough positive about. They cared for and looked after my Father.nnBut they have been badly let down by the management.
Great host extremely attentive and welcoming..nMy room was very clean and tastefully decorated. And for the price outstanding value for money.nThank you
