After coming here a couple of years ago when the course was in really bad condition, I have played the course alot over the last 2 years and it has improved sooo much. Everything that was wrong is now perfect. Great course to play now, fairways and greens excellent condition, before and after photos.
This couse is hidden little gem. I played here in November and was totally impressed with the condition of the course. Exceptional drainage means its playable all year round. No water to worry about but plenty of bunkers to avoid. Mostly wide fairways and few trees mean you will be exposed to the elements especially the wind but it also means no leaves to contend with in Autumn. Not too much of a challenge for a decent golfer but an enjoyable track for the average Joe or Joanne.
A good course with some challenging holes. Great staff with a good selection of food and drinks. Ample parking with a small practice area and putting green.
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were very good, bunkers with fresh sand and the wind providing a very links style challenge.
Played the course today and very impressed. Course was in top condition considering time of year. Fairways were very solid underfoot, the course clearly drys out quickly and another big plus point was noticeable lack of leafs. Greens were the big standout plus point, they were fast but they were very consistent and run true. Stayed for food after, which was very good and generations portions. Look forward to visiting again.
Played today fairways & greens are a Credit To the green staff. . hope what we told in the clubhouse after our round that the course is closing in a couple of weeks isn't true.. will be a big loss, love playing here & the staff are always welcoming & attentive..

What a golf course! Suits all handicappers, in fantastic conditions, greens don't vary, i.e. all perfectly kept and almost identical speed. As the course overlooks the Thames estuary, it can be rather windy on the higher, exposed holes. All things said and done, definitely worth a visit
This course has improved measurably. Greens are good, shame it is due to close later this year.
What a wonderful golf course. Greens are true and fast.be careful if you go on a windy day because that's the defence of this 18 holes looking over the Thames estuary. It's a good course to walk or hire a buggy.the only thing is the Tees do need a bit of work but nothing really to complain about that's just me nit picking.
