Peaceful, big, interesting graves and you can find graves from famous people.
Peaceful despite being near a main road and nice to go for a walk. It also has surrounding green areas which are nice to go on walks through
Huge cemetery in manchester, well laid out and easy to find. lots of famous graves too, facilities and a chapel
Peaceful and well maintained. There is a lovely range of trees. I found my grandfathers grave quickly with the help of an online name search which found the plot number and then the guy in the cemetery office pointed me in the correct direction along with useful map. My grandad died in 1961 and the head stone still looks ok.

I often enjoy cycling around the old cemetery. Plenty of famous peoples graves to seek out. Peaceful, quiet. Feed the squirrels. Lovely
Very moving remembrance day service at Southern Cemetery. Lovely to see so many local school children there too to pay their respects.
