Southend YMCA is a leading children and young peoples charity. We work in Southend, Thurrock, other parts of Essex and the Thames Gateway supporting some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
No child or young person should have to face life's difficulties alone and we support a wide range of young people some of whom may be experiencing extremely traumatic challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, abuse, poverty, unemployment or mental health problems.
We have been operating for the past 20 years and have worked with tens of thousands of young people helping them to become happy, fulfilled adults who can belong, contribute and thrive in society.
Southend YMCA is an independent Southend based charity that is affiliated to the national and global YMCA movement, supporting children and young people.
