I had a fantastic time attending the Eid Mela at Southall Park. This vibrant festival featured a wide array of stalls offering delicious food, fun games, and exciting swings for both adults and children. The atmosphere was lively and festive, making it a memorable experience for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the event!
Well preserved, clean and accessible!nEnjoying walks, runs and using the outdoors gym equipment good quality & clean!nThere are many gazebo throughout the park in case of rain.nJoin the Fun Fair from the 15/7
Located in the heart of southall, just next to Broadway and green drive lane, southall park is a beautiful, lush green, area with plenty of things to do. Mostly used by elders for evening or morning walk. One can use the open gym which is there. Go out with your pet, stroll or, sit on the, bench and do gossip. Or U can use this as, short cut to reach Southall Broadway. The park is nicely maintained and kept neat and tidy.nOne can easily reach here. Take tube till southall and thn walk, down the road. It will 2-5 min walk, from train station. Or take bus directly to southall. Bus stand is just next to the park. There plenty of shops to do shopping or eating outlets. So it's great asset to have in their residential area.
The community itself cherishes the park. I have known this park all my life. To see this improve brought a smile to my face. Fun fair, Sikh festivals good gathering and a good park makes a good community.
Great park just one problem the Maintenance is poor around the facility as you have rubbish everywhere and the Trees and Plants don’t really get much attention it seems likenAlso another problem is the drainage outside the Parks entrance on the Green Drive sidenThis is getting ridiculous as you have to walk around it or jump over it as you seem to get a massive puddle whenever it rains nI’m no expert but I think there is a blockage somewhere!nAnd this has been going on for like years it seems like, a picture is attached belownThey say a picture is worth a thousand words and you have it below
