Seeing a sewage warning sign on the beach on a sunny day in May was genuinely upsetting. The beach was almost deserted, and it is hard not to feel angry about the impact this has on the local community, visitors, wildlife, and trust in the coastline. People should be able to enjoy the sea without worrying about pollution. South West Water needs to take far greater responsibility for protecting local water quality and restoring public confidence.
After an issue with my account I spoke to a lovely lady called Kate.nIf only all phone operators had her kindness, understanding, decency, reassurance.nAn absolute pleasure to speak with.nMy problem was resolved, and Kate even got back to me to confirm to calm my anxiety. She even took my health condition into account, and made me as relaxed as possible.nWell done SWW for hiring such a first class human! And thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sww were an absolute god send for me today. I had a blocked drain and was unable to use the bathroom due to waste from toilet being spewed into bath. Metro rod was the company that were requested to do the job. But they were inexperienced and unequipped to do anything! So sww were called out and even though it wasn't their job,they did the job anyway. Lads were kind and considerate, and chose to stay and do the job than leave me in a bad situation. Thank you so much lads... you know who you arenAbsolute life savers
Just got a letter through that my bill will be going up by 20%. They have the audacity to suggest they are doing this for noble reasons. As if I don’t read the news. Privatising water companies was the worst mistake this country ever made, letting scummy companies like this rob us.
Me and my partner left the uk for 3 months, as u would do we turned the water off to save on the bills. When we came back we found a water bill for £345, water meter filled with water. After 2 months of waiting multiple phone calls they finally came out to do a leak test and said there was no leak, after a plumber came out and confirmed no leak inside the property he told us that the church had a leak accross the rd and that all of are neighbours had higher than usual water bills for that period. Apparently according to south West water whilst me and my partner where not even in the uk we used 5.3 bathtubs of water a day...... they are still dragging there hills nearly 3 months later. I would give them less than 1 star if I could.nnUpdate...nAfter a 2nd person from south west water came out and found a leak at the meter they have fixed the leak... 4 months after reporting it.... also noticed they had overestimated are water meter reading.
