Really enjoyable train ride. The place isn't completely finished but the train ride is fully operational. It's a nice old steam train using tracks from an old mine. The train goes through very scenic countryside and is a very relaxing way to spend an hour or so.

Enjoyable train ride with pleasant walk back to Alston along the side of the track. Extremely friendly staff and a nice cafe.

A beautiful piece of railway history. Developed from scratch with a lot of enthusiasm. Highly recommended, both for a walk along the tracks and a ride with one of the trains.
