Nice level site with hardstanding for leisure vehicles. Small sized for caravans with awnings, but adequate for motorhomes/campervans. Clean and modern toilet blocks. Well maintained grass and roadways. Still busy even in October. Book early to avoid disappointment. Playground: Well planned play area with fencing, Dog free, so no danger of treading in a mess. Good age range catered for. Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcomed on leads around the site, with plenty of poop-bins. Beach is unrestricted, I believe, for dogs.
Good location, premier caravans are fantastic quality and like a home from home. Approx 1 mile walk along the coast to the main town or there's a park & ride bus from the park.Rooms: 5/5
We have stayed here 3 times now. The pitches are a bit on the small side but the location is great for a nice walk along the beach into Bridlington.
I've been coming to this site since I was a child with my father now I bring my children. It has been a family favourite site for us all, never had any issue with the site, great children's playground and even more so with the new addition on the touring side. Entertainment has always been great with fair prices on drinks and food. Always clean and caravans are top notch. Can not wait to be back with the family for more fun
Don’t know why that originally came up as one star but this is a great site, really well situated close to the beach and has great amenities and the pitches for tourers are great. Site is secure and safe for children. Awesome toilet/showers and most importantly, very clean. We have enjoyed 3 stays here and would definitely go back and recommend the site for tourers and tents.
We enjoyed our stay. The pitch we were on was spacious. Nice pub and shop on site. Just 2 negatives. The toilets and showers in the closest block to us, closed for cleaning around 9 am. Just at the time most people wanted to use them. No cleaning times on display. Only bins for rubbish were at the entrance. Bit of a trail to dispose of rubbish.
Fabulous time as always. Staff brilliant. Food in Makis onsite is great. Tried the carvery this time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch, what a chilled out experience that was, well worth the extra.
Great stay. amenities very clean, only down side water taps all froze so could do with one in amenities also several people not taking notice of not allowing fowling on site and to take to Woods or offsite.
Great site close to beach and town, touring pitches ok but could be full hardstanding, as not good in winter. Was there over new year, got back after midnight new years eve and there was some caravans with decks set up and karaoke machine which went on till behond 1.30am in morning no security to be seen, no noise after 11.00pm? Also new years day somebody setting rockets off on the park, I know this is not the sites faulty but really does these things go off all the time? Not experience this sort of behaviour in 20 years of Caravanning could do better
South cliff Holiday Park is a beautiful caravan park, very clean facilities, although maybe at a premium price. You get what you pay for I have to say that the park is deffinintley carried by the local Makis leisure facilities, without Makis I can't see how south Cliff would work. Yes it's close to the beach and not far from Bridlintgton. But again holiday parks need leisure facilities and I can clearly see that South cliff is built around Makis. Still a fantastic clean site for relaxing so consider a visit you won't be dissapointed.
