The beach here is just unbeatable - endless sand! There is a large grassy area too and a nice walk up to the dragon. Quite often horse riders come here and there are lots of rabbits in the evening. The car park itself is very large and free. It's a great place for overnight in your camper as it's so quiet away from the road and has great mobile signal. Unfortunately every time I have been here the bins have been overflowing and litter everywhere.

This is an access point to Irvine South beach , a lot of people decide to take their campers out there , or tents to stay longer as at good weather this place is amazing. Great views ,large beach goes for miles. Paddle boarding, kayaks , horses , jet skis , all usual beach activities present out there. Great spot to bring your kite and test it ,as might be windy out there. Because it's a Ocean coast , water usually is slightly warmer than west coast with colder north sea. Bad points : no toilets in this area :
The best thing about the carpark is that it is very close to the beach, so no need for a long walk to touch the sands. There is a small reserved space for camper vans but unfortunately with no visibility of the beach. However, people do camp on the beach itself. Awesome sunset views with mountains in the backdrop.
This is a lovely quiet beach for all the family to enjoy, the are several parking spots.nThe beach is situated at the Gailes, you have a short walk from the car park to the breach. This is well worth a visit.
