Interesting to look at but was not open when I went ...really wanted to go in ...not well sign posted as walked past it twice
Lunch here found a varied menu suitable for all tastes. A little expensive, but worth it. Great staff and service. Very popular.
Great atmosphere, easy to spot from the road with the thatched roof, accessible if you have mobility issues, excellent food, staff and service.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Excellent. Good food, well cooked and presented. Friendly staff, also well presented. Coped well with large number of dinners. Varied and interesting menu. Generous Calamari starter, very nice sea bream and garlic prawn mains. Cheeseboard? Either too little cheese or too many biscuits, but I would have preferred more cheese.
A small venue but worth a visit to complete the full Burns experience. Nice artwork in the gift shop manned womanned? by a very helpful and knowledgeable lady whose enthusiasm for her role shines through. Watch out for the opening hours if you don't want to be disappointed.
Unfortunately it was closed for winter from end of September.
Nice little piece of the jigsaw after a visit to Culzean castle, only small but as it should be. Guide very informative directed us to souters where we had a lovely lunch and sorted our day out tomorrow. Thank you
A guide with enthusiasm for her work welcomed us into the cottage. We chatted about the history of the cottage, its occupants and how old and new is bring brought together with displays of artwork from local artists. The cottage is well worth a visit whether you are a Burns enthusiast or not, you will take some new knowledge away with you.
Closed. No signage explaining why or giving details of opening hours. The National Trust website now says closed 1st Jan to 31 Dec which isn't very useful.
Lovely place for a meal.great choice for all. Nice setting never had complaints in many times we visited
