"Aileen Mallon became proprietor of Sophistacut Hair Salon in 1993 when it was situated on Thomas Street Dungannon. Due to a growth in business Aileen relocated the salon to a larger premises of Curran House Edendork in 2007. Aileen has flourished through 27 successful years of running Sophistacut and the business continues to grow as she does. Going from strength to strength, Aileen continues to broaden her horizons by launching a new website in May 2020. Alongside this Aileen continues to advance her knowledge by attending courses held by GHD, Alfaparf Milano, Paul Mitchell and L'Oréal. This training and information allows Aileen to provide her clients with the most relevant and up to date advice and services."

Always leave this salon feeling like a new person.... My hair is as big as my ego after visiting as I'm treated like a celeb from start to finish. All the girls look after you so well from the minute you step inside. My mum is a life long Sophist-a-cut blow dry sporting wonder woman and after you visit you'll see why. I've had the disastrous primary school fringe fixed here, my first holy communion obligatory French plaits done here, my confirmation upstyle done here... My "Rachel" from Friends admit it you had that style too.. First GHD's were bought here.... I likely spilled a few secrets here over the years and I'm glad to say I will keep on doing it. Thank you Aileen and all the girls for always looking after us... See you soon
