Robert came today to sweep our multi-burner stove. He came across as a really nice, knowledgeable guy who was really quick and professional at getting the job done. The stove looks much cleaner than it did before. We will definitely be back!
Robert came out yesterday to sweep our chimney, keeping the date and time of our pre-booked appointment which was so appreciated as we had some bother with another chimney sweep who had let us down with no shows. Robert was so friendly and explained everything he was doing to me, nothing was any trouble, also let my young son and I watch the whole process, which was so interesting as I honestly didn’t know what was entailed and how big a job it was. Robert quickly discovered there was a bird’s nest stuck in the chimney and when he explained the sheer size of what might come out of the chimney, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine what actually did come out it! The pics below say it all! He even carried out a smoke test to reassure me that the smoke would now go up the chimney as it should, I really appreciated this as we had a bit of an incident before Christmas where we lit the fire and the smoke all came into the house instead, was very scary! I now know we can light the fire with confidence that won’t happen again. Would highly recommend Robert to everyone and look forward to his return every year now, customer for life!
Top service, Robert explained everything to me and had our stove like new in no time. Will definitely be using regularly to maintain stove. Great price for the service too.
A good clean job on a flue that was long overdue for a sweep! And a bonus education with some good tips on using the wood-burner thrown in as well.
We called Robert to sweep the chimney & replace the cap at the top. He fitted us in quickly as he had a cancellation. He was efficient and left the room immaculate whilst graciously answering the million questions he was asked by our kids. He also gave us advice on our plans to change an existing fireplace & substantial hearth, so we asked him back to design, source & install the project. Despite facing some challenges getting the flue liner down our tricky chimney, he did a superb job and has transformed the room for us. The job was tidy, efficient and great value. We would not hesitate to recommend Robert. Thank you.

Booked Sootsyou to clean my flue as based upon positive reviews.Inspected his work after returning from work and found he had not even removed the backplate or damper lid to clean!.which was clogged with soot,Did this myself. Also soot dust particles were all over the living room!I cleaned myself. My previous Sweep was more tidy at £30! £45 up the flue Any reply from Sootsyou yet?...Still waiting? .....Hello...Ground Control to Major Tom...No reply from Soots You yet 7 months later! Booked my regular sweep to clean my chimney as I do every Christmas today and confident he'll do a good ,honest job. Does Sootsyou only reply to customers who give a positive review?'or are their ears clogged with SOOT!. Hellooo Soots You,over 3 years now since a response! Not even an apology! Bought myself a wee cheap chimney brush and rods set from Amazon,Absolutely brilliant and easy to use,and not a speck of suit as I used an old sheet and sealing tape to illiminate dust.It only took me 20 minutes. This will save me paying extortionate rip off prices from sweeps like yourself and others.. Bye forever!
Robert came out today to clean our chimney as we have recently moved house and were not sure of the condition of it. Robert was so friendly, explained the whole process of what he was doing and answered any questions we had as interested onlookers. There was no mess at all, and the living room was left looking exactly as it had done before he arrived. Will be using Robert every year now, would highly recommend!
