Brilliant place: authentic Japanese cuisine and lovely environment - so long waited in Aberdeen and quite close to my place Fast and friendly service - Hamachi nigiri is a " must try". Pricing is reasonable for the quality of raw fish you get here. The menu is not huge, but the place is not big either. The main downside is that there is no good car parking in the area
The staff and service was fantastic. Very attentive and incredibly polite. The menu isn't overcrowded and we had a selection of sushi, katsu curry and a miso ramen. Everything was cooked really well. The place only loses a star cause the prices are just a little steep.

Love it, love it, love it! Cant compliment the staff and food enough! There is absolutely no equivalent to this food anywhere in Aberdeen. Coming from a different country where Japanese food is very popular and good quality, I was always disappointed previously when I tried places with Japanese food across Scotland. Now this is it, this is a place where you can taste real amazing delicious fresh rolls, nigiris and whatever else - just the way they are supposed to taste! Go for it and surely you wont be disappointed! Staff are super friendly, attentive to clients and are very nice. It is a small place so make sure you book your table. Prices reflect superb quality and taste of food.

We went here with really high expectations and it just didn't quite live up. The waitresses were super pushy to the point it was uncomfortable. I personally struggled to find things I wanted to order and felt pressured and stressed by staff to order quickly as they had come over six times in total to ask what we want to order. In the end I said we would let them know when we were ready... We had two beers to drink whilst checking the menu, after various interference we decided to just grab the bill. After explaining we were not longer going to stay for food the waitress was very confrontational and said she would have to ask if that was ok?! She returned with the bill, we then got quizzed why we were not staying for food... We explained there were few veggie options to which she responded but overall the experience was just not enjoyable. It's a shame, and it's just possibly a bad experience, however it seemed over priced and too intense for my enjoyment.
A diverse menu, if you’re struggling with picking dishes then the team will easily help guide you to your desired ones. The sushi boat and Japanese bridge packed with chefs selection of sushi is pretty special and you can’t go wrong with one of the ramen bowls. Great value for money and bring a few friends so you can share a whole heap of dishes together. I’d recommend you book in advance for the weekend.
Very Friendly staff with a great atmosphere. The food was very tasty.
