After a failed trip to Dishoom we were craving something a bit different to your average curry house, we stumbled across Sona and oh wow, it did not disappoint. The flavour profile of my partners dish blew our minds, after a long time deliberating over various items on the menu I actually ended up going quite basic with a chicken tikka masala and I have to say it was the best I’ve had. The naan was so soft, fresh and delicious. Definitely the best we’ve ever had. Staff were extremely accommodating with our toddler and very attentive throughout the meal but without being annoying. We’re actually still talking about how good the food was. We can’t wait to go back!!
My first ever order yesterday via JustEat to Sona Buntingford. 30 minutes after my order was accepted and confirmed they cancelled it without explanation. Today I see the have hiked the price, and have introduced a small order fee, on a not trivially expensive order. To hell with them. I appreciated them listing what was gluten free, but they can forget it now. If they made a mistake and messed up their own promotional discount, then they should have honoured my order, and only after it was delivered, then hiked the price for subsequent orders.
Great variety of food options. Staff helpful and very polite. Ordered food to be delivered , very quickly arrived, piping hot and super delicious. Look forward to eating at the restaurant
Ordered a meal for 5 people for Mother’s Day through Facebook messenger, really quick response and helpful when picking curry’s and very reasonable price and very tasty curry’s. Will definitely be ordering again or dinning in.
Ordered a takeaway and the delivery estimate was 55 mins, turned up 1hr 35mins later. It was cold and items were missing, called to report and i was told that the food left the kitchen within 5 mins worrying in itself then he very nicely hung up on me, disgusting and very disappointing service. The fact I was only trying to call up and report this so changes can be made in the future not only for me but for others and this be dismissed so rudely is a shame, think we will be going elsewhere from now on.
