Solitaire Jewellers

Friendly, efficient and prompt service, excellent quality. I was looking for a jewellers with a workshop on site (because I wanted to be able to discuss the work with the silversmith): I found Solitaire via Google. I was most impressed and very pleased with all aspects. I was looking for repairs and some changes to an old piece of silverware. The silversmith had no problems agreeing to my requests – but actually suggested some improvements. The quality of the work was excellent and delivered speedily and on time. I found the staff in Solitaire to be friendly, very welcoming and efficient. I shall be back!

Helpful, friendly and fast repair. Price was very reasonable.They even cleaned the whole jade necklace and it looks new. Thank you.

I'm not the sort of person to leave online reviews. But, after my experience, I felt that I have to leave a review. As I walked in with my watch, before I could even say anything, the 'gentleman' behind the counter says "Don't think you'll have your watch done anything soon. I have twelve to do". Amazing customer service! I then asked for two links to be taken off my watch. I put my watch on and I was told "No. You need one link taken out. Not two". I advised that I would like two links taken out. I've had enough watches in the past to know how many links I'll need removed. I was then told "Look, I'll take one link out and, if you need another taken out, I'll do it" I was told that I would receive a phone call in an hour to come and collect my watch. Two hours passed and I did not receive a phone call. I went to the shop, where the gentleman walked to the back, gave me my watch and walked back to the back of the shop. He did not utter a word to me. As expected, I did need two links taken out. I decided to go elsewhere to have the other link taken out instead of dealing with this jewellers again. A complete waste of time. After my experience and the reviews on Yelp, I'm very suspicious about the positive reviews on here. AVOID!

Great experience at this Jewellers... I took in my watch which had a broken strap and the chap working there was able to fix it within a minute or so... He didn't charge me.
