This is a great shopping area. However don't expect to spend more than 2-3 hours because you will receive a parking fine. You may think 3 hours would be enough, but with the variety of stores and a coffee shop in M & S believe me it's not. So be aware.
There is a combination of shops there to enjoy.. I went to Pets At Home to get my cat his monthly flea treatment, I then looked around the bottom section of Hobby Craft and bought a non stick rolling pin and some double sided tape pack of 2, and finally had a look around Lidl's and bought a few vegetables if I wasn't trying to lose weight I would have got tempted to look at some of the other things, too . Greatly recommended to visit this retail park and have a look around their shops if coming by car though; be cautious that it's not stolen as it's been on the news for such.. especially land/range rovers
All those stories about parking fines are completely justified I'm afraid. First you need to spot the restrictions which vary by area. Then you need to watch the clock carefully. But actually it's not worth it. Group Nexus will get you one way or another if you shop here regularly. Sooner or later you'll forget, or lose track of time. Maybe you'll get into a complex purchase, or just relax with a coffee and get into a conversation. Or else you'll think you have plenty of time, only to be stuck in a queue trying to get out, or else you'll forget the time it took to park in the first place. Oh the anxiety! A couple of weeks later, there it is in the post: '£100 please'. I'm guessing the parking company makes more money than most of the shops. My advice, just stay away until the big retailers do something about it.
Be careful took my disabled mother to Mark's and spencer to shop, also had lunch in the cafe, then to boots for some bits, got a ticket for £80 for staying over 3 hours!! Absolutely disgusting. How can you rush around with someone disabled!! BEWARE EVERYONE..
Best to go early as the car parks get pretty crowded quickly.nIf all else fails, park in Curry’s PC World!nAlso, the car park outside M&S is camera operated and has a 3 hour limit, so be careful if you park there and go walkabout in the retail park.
