Chartered a bareboat RIB with Solent Rib Charter on the bank holiday weekend for a day out to the Isle of Wight. They were there to meet us when we arrived at the marina, showed us to the lovely clean RIB, answered all questions are were just generally very helpful friendly people. We had a mechanical issue whilst in the Solent but once we got into Cowes, I called Alex and he sorted out everything, turning a potentially-stressful day into one that was as smooth as could be. Absolutely top-notch customer service and I can't overstate how helpful he was! If you're looking for a RIB charter in the Solent I'd absolutely 100% recommend these guys - I'll definitely be coming back for years to come!
Rented a RIB from these guys which they brought down to Padstow since there isn't a current charter option down there. Boat in superb condition their boats are used commercially and for leisure, so super well maintained. Jamie who got up at 4am to get the boat down to us, was a lovely guy and gave us decent handover run-through and advice. Camel estuary is fun for poddling around - never needed the 40 knot capability of the RIB, found that 30 was more than enough, though some hairy times out beyond the estuary mouth when it got pretty lumpy. Summary: really nice people, with great kit and knowledge.
We selected Solent Rib Charter for a team incentive. From start to finish the process was seamless. They were really flexible and allowed for us to enjoy the sights and have a relaxed lunch in Cowes. From booking the event and planning the itinerary with Jack, to the excellent skipper Bruce. It was a great day out. The team gave lots of positive feedback about the day.
We went on a great trip from Lymington around The Needles and then finishing at The Hut on the Isle of Wight for lunch. It was brilliant fun and topped off with lovely sunshine and a great skipper thank you John for waiting for us whilst we finished our meal. I would highly recommend Solent Rib Charter. We hired a rib from Solent Rib Charter for some filming around the Isle of Wight. Theo was extremely helpful organising everything for us - including lots of last minute changes and a reshoot! We ended up going out twice due to our shooting schedule and both skippers Alex and Mike were brilliant and managed to keep the boats steady for our drones to take off / land from. Would highly recommend Solent Rib Charter.
Absolutely great fun! I would recommend this company over and over again. From start to finish, the Solent Rib Charter team were brilliant and so easy to deal with. The trip from Bucklers Hard across to the Needles on Isle of Wight was exilerating. Then on to East Cowes for lunch....west Cowes for ice-cream and then back to Bucklers Hard. We hired 3 RIBs with Barry and his skipper colleagues making our trip exciting, informative and interesting throughout. Cheers guys for providing our friends and family an amazing time on the water.
2022: Another wildly successful client RIB day with the wonderful Solent RIB Charter. Well organised with friendly and professional skippers, our clients had a brilliant time again on what is one of our most popular annual events, thanks to Jakob, Christian & the team! 2019: We were lucky enough to enjoy two fabulous RIB days over the past week with the guys at Solent RIB Charter. The events were very well received by staff and clients alike, all of our skippers were friendly and helpful, Sarah was on hand behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this for a client or team day
Had a great trip out to the Needles and then to the Hut in late July. The organisation was excellent, the rib great fun and Mike our skipper added value. All in all a very fun way to get to the IOW.
Booked for a corporate event and we had a great time. Our skipper Andy was great at getting the most out of our time and showed us more than what we had in mind! He was available at the end of the phone to pick us up again after dinner on the iow and take us back to the mainland. Would highly recommend
