Excellent place. Warm welcome, very friendly staff and super helpful. Good choice menu. Delicious Sunday lunch. Very nice desserts too. A must visit place. We'll definitely be back. YES we went back. Great food. Lovely staff.
We were served by Julie and she was really great. I’m travelling from Perth, WA and loved the personal touch she added to her service and the friendly chat at the table. It’s not often you would experience service like that at a local pub in Perth. Thanks for lunch!Food: 5/5
The first time visiting the Snowy Owl in Cramlington. Not somewhere I will be returning to. I had the beef brisket sandwich and opted for salad rather than chips. It was a long wait 25 minutes for my son's starters to arrive & quite a wait for all our main food. My beef brisket was very bland. The toasted bloomer was was very dry & it looked as though it had been dried out under a food warmer rather than toasted. The salad comprised of salad leaves, one slice of tomato & two slices of onion. For £12.25 I certainly wouldn't say it was value for money. No one came to ask how our food was and the empty dishes were left until after we left. My son's had burger & chips which they said was 'OK'. The total bill came to just under £92.00 we had one drink each. For that sort of money I would expect the food to have been much more than just OK or acceptable. Very disappointed
This place is lovely, cosy atmosphere and lovely country pub decor. Had the pie of the day ham hock and cheddar and it was beautiful! The nicest pie I have ever had. The spring onion mash was also really nice. The staff are extremely friendly and warm, Julie was very attentive, friendly and just a lovely lady. First time coming here and will definitely be coming back!
Just stumbled across this place by chance, but I'm pleased we did, and we'll definitely be back. Rooms are clean and well presented, food was fabulous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend a visit, even if it's just to stop in for a spot of lunch, the pub is country rustic with a charming atmosphere. Parking: There was more than adequate parking for the size of the property. Wheelchair accessibility: The pub and the room were wheelchair accessible.
Great food. But service could do with some work. Turned up without a reservation which seemed to cause a lot of confusion, despite many open tables for the duration of our visit. Would recommend booking in advance if you’re planning on visitingFood: 5/5
We have usually only come to this pub to celebrate something. Today was a birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Downsides are I felt like we had been forgotten again. We arrived well before 2 other tables and only got our food about 30 minutes after them. I asked for a pint of pepsi and had to remind them to get it as this seemed to be forgotten to. It arrived after my meal not during when I wanted it. It a great pub. Must have been bad luck with service today.
A fantastic place full of character and charm. The seating is comfortable and there is plenty of space. We had a family gathering so needed a good size table. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. Service was friendly, efficient and very slick. The food was superb, each meal was beautifully presented and really tasty, everyone enjoyed their meals. The prices are good considering the quality of ingredients and the fact it is all freshly prepared. We will definitely be back.
Came on a Monday evening and it was lovely. Nice chilled atmosphere. We had two dogs with us too so we were 'restricted' to the bar area, which is a nice area anyways. Dan took our order as we required gluten free options. The food was brilliant. Can't wait to come back.
I came in for Sunday lunch yesterday and the entire experience was fab! Our server Sarah was friendly and efficient. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. She was attentive, and the food arrived promptly. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. I'll definitely be back!
