Table for six. All got served at same time with four different meals. Food was very nice and plentiful. Extensive menu. Something for everyone.  Not been for a long time. Only downside, some of the cutlery were dirty as was the table and the cutlery buckets. Bit more attention in these areas would make it a 5 star place.

Always nice and easy choice for food and / or drinks. Value for money especially on the days where there's a 'deal'. Great place for all the family and also for viewing sports. Good beer garden for those few days of summer!

Typical family chain pub, it is okay but is often busy and the device and quality leaves alit to be desired at times, but you do get what you pay for and it is fairly cheap. The bold forester in Mansfield is the same chain and therefore same menu and prices but a better place to eat at in my opinion. I think this gets busy because of its proximity to the A38.

Excellent food, great prices. Most of the staff were friendly, but we all have our off days. Child friendly too. Would definitely recommend it.

Place has really gone downhill. Portions seem smaller, food is badly cooked, burnt to a crisp or almost raw. The tables, chairs, menus are all sticky. Staff do their best.
