Honestly…Bring back Toys R Us! Went to pick something up which I’d ordered online. Not sure where as I could see 2 tills open and also staff along a gaming counter, so found a lady to ask. Was sent to the tills. Waited in a big queue. That’s fine - it is Christmas after all. The lady before me was bringing back a globe and exchanging it for another - with her receipt I must add. They couldn’t exchange it without checking on the cameras that she had actually walked in holding it and hadn’t picked it up off a shelf! She had a valid receipt - totally bizarre! Anyway at last it’s my turn - only to be told that I needed to go the what looked like the gaming counter. When you get there, there is a customer service sign but it’s under the counter - not exactly where your eyes look upon entering a store! Picked up my item eventually but give me Argos any day of the week over this circus of a shop! I hate writing a bad review as you can see from my previous reviews, but this place deserves it. Pop to your local Argos or Amazon before venturing inside here. It’ll be a very, very, last resort for me.
A special shout out to a wonderful employee Kirstie who served me on the 29/12/23 04:44pm till 106. Not only was she incredibly sweet and kind to me but she was patient during an autistic meltdown. I was very distressed and with her compassion and understanding I was able to calm down and settle. Thank you again Kirstie I hope to see you again on my next visit.
Went in to buy 3 car seats and other bits. Claire was so helpful and had a wealth of knowledge which was great as we didn't have a clue. Made sure they fit in the car and took the time to show how they worked. Came back another day to take advantage of the free fitting service and Kirstie came to the rescue and did a great job even in the miserable weather. Again in such poor weather conditions, took time and did it properly and made sure I was satisfied with the end result. Both members of staff were so polite and friendly. Give them a BONUS!!
I went into store today hoping to get three hula hoops for training my dog.nnWhen I asked a young chap who had only been employed in store for one week he said that they had unfortunately been put away to make way for seasonal stock, but he contacted someone to see if I could still purchase..nA lady then kindly fetched me three from the stockroom/ warehouse.nnThe young lady at the till was also very polite and pleasant.nnAn great experience of excellent customer service from all staff. Well done and thank you.

Everything is available here:cycles, puzzle, PS5, barbie house, Cars, scooter, teddy bears,family game.....nYou have an incredible choice, excellent for birthday gifts!nI bought Monopoly and 5 second rule game, the prices are cheaper compare to other stores.nMust visit Smith Heaven Superstore for kids!
