Normally have a lovely experience in here however went in during the week was really quiet. Wanted to purchase 2 large expensive Lego sets , asked a member of staff to get them down and all he did was grunt and huff at the fact he had to help us. The front box of one of the sets we was wanted was damaged so we kindly asked if we could have a different one which he then got the ump about. Then just walked off with the boxes and didn’t even bother to explain to us that he had to take them to the till !
Bought me lad a footy goal here, took it all the way home to realise we did buy the wrong size and needed to change it ONLY after we opened the box and started to put it together.nRead the returns policy and then understood that they dont take returns that have been opened!nWas disappointed but still came back to return it and they did for a good will gesture so cant really fault them this time.nThe guy also was helpful in finding the size goal needed so all good nMaybe some advise is to the lady who did the return not to be so stern in dressing us down about the fact it had been opened. Was a genuine mistake and my 12 year old son even said it was abit harsh the way she said it.nThe goal itself is very good
Wow!! The customer service today was amazing, a massive thankyou to Lee on the baby department in helping us with purchasing our pram. He was so knowledgeable, and so helpful. Such a lovely experience! This man deserves a raise, THANKYOU!!
Went in today with my 16 year old son looking at racing wheels. Came back a little while later, walked over towards the game desk to buy one and was waved at and asked to leave the store because he was carrying a takeaway coffee in his hands and they don’t allow food and drink to be consumed on the premises. I asked if it was ok as he was literally holding it not drinking it and was told no sorrynnFully understand there are policies and they want to keep store clean etc and agree if he was younger and / or eating whilst walking around fair play but he was literally carrying the cup in his hands it could have even been empty they didn’t ask just politely basically told him to leave the store nnFelt it was a bit over the top but on the plus side then went to Ipswich store and there service is always on point and helpful staff there
Really really rude staff that need to sort their attitudes out. We were looking at the ride on toys for the first time and it turns out there’s supposed to be a sign saying they are just for display yet not chained down like the larger items , but it had fell off. My toddler wanted to try a small ride on for size and I wanted to ensure I wasn’t spending £50-80 on something that didn’t fit her so ofc I let her try it out!! Within minutes a rude guy comes up behind us and says “tell her to get off the ride ons please” with two more staff behind staring at me like I’m a criminal lol. This is an almost 2 year old and an innocent mistake because THEIR sign fell down. I was watched all the way to the tills as if I was doing something really wrong. Very odd staff that need to get a lifennThese are the same staff members standing out the front blowing their cigarettes in your face as you walk in. Great kids store
