Went to return a pram with a faulty cup holder after emailing customer service with pictures of the fault. Manager Naveed insisted it wasnt faulty, forced the cup holder into the pram took two men to do this and then said the plastic was designed to bend. We weren't happy with this so he fobbed us of by replacing it with the cupholder from the filthy display model which didnt bend when he put it on, unlike the first one. I dont appreciate being treated like an idiot by this rude little man who thinks its okay to lie in order to not refund customers for broken parts. Had he ordered a new one i would have been happy despite his decieving attitude.

I have bought many things from here. From baby products to toys and arts and crafts to outdoor toys. There is a wide variety of toys and games. I would like there to be more activity books for children as my kids love that type of thing. My inner child always comes.es out when I'm in this store.

Awesome place to buy toys and all things kids love and enjoy. There's a wide variety of toys for all age groups, ranging from baby toys to bicycles for teenagers.  The store itself is big and well-staffed. It can get very busy on weekends at peak times but generally not too bad. There's plenty of free parking outside the store, especially at this end of it retail park.  The store is well stocked and tidy which is surprising considering all the kids running around trying everything out so staff are doing a good job. My only gripe would be that the staff could be a bit more friendly, even a smile or a greeting would go a long way but I guess they are really busy.  There's not many special offers or good deals on offer in store but they do have a very good range of toys covering all price brackets so everyone will find something suitable for themselves.  All in all a great place to go treat the kids to toys and buy gifts for occasions.

I have never seen worse staff in any shop in my life! This is supposed to be a place for kids to feel comfortable, and buy toys.  Instead it's full of arrogant Pakistani men oggling women, and messing about. One of the men actually barged into my back, and almost knocked me into a child! When I turned around he said" I'm going doing something" haha. You couldn't make it up.  The place also stinks! The whole shop smells like sweaty men. Absolutely disgusting!  I for one will never enter that place, or spend a penny with that company again. You have been warned!

Good afternoon,  my husband has just collected a car seat from your Elk Mill store, for our Grandson.  He has asked me to send this to say what a great guy Zahid is. I would give 0 stars if I had the option.  Rubbish Manager - Unhelpful, Rude and Unprofessional. Very street like behaviour. Manager was Asian.  I bought a bike for my 3 year old, when I went home I realised it was broken and dirty  it clearly was a used bike sold to me so I wanted a replacement.  I told him that when I buy something I expect it to be new and clean like everyone would when spending money.  They went to the back of the store and the manager came out with other two men - as if they wanted to fight - I felt very intimidated.  I should of asked if they wanted to fight as I had this impression, very unprofessional and very street like. I had left this store without any sort of assistance / and left with the broken bike, as the problem was left unsolved.  Terrible experience.  I will never go to this store anymore.  Customer Service is terrible and horrible.  DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE !!!

Jenny from the nursery department is an absolute star! She went out of her way to help us with a car seat we had already purchased but having issues with. Not once but on 2 different occasions.  Had a smile on her face the whole time and didn’t make us feel awkward for coming back a second time. She is a credit to Smyths and a perfect example to others on how to interact with customers with the right attitude and demeanour.  Thanks Jenny

As expectant first time parents, we went into Smyths looking for a pram / buggy / car seat with no idea what we were doing. We were helped by Zahid who was due to finish his shift but stayed with us for an extra 20 mins explaining pros and cons of all the options. He really went above and beyond to help us out with things that we hadn’t even considered! Just hope his bosses are aware of how much he goes the extra mile when he didn’t have to.

VERY bad customer service. Was asked to return the faulty dangerous buggy for a full refund after contacting smyths only a couple of months after purchasing. Bearing in mind it was only used for 11 weeks prior. It was agreed that I would purchase a new buggy from them to use so that I could still get my son to school, then they said when they got the faulty one back id be refunded straight away. Now theyve got it back, they tell me they ant do a refund and can only issue a giftcard - which is obviously NO USE TO ME NOW!!! Im absolutely fuming that I was lied to and I will be taking this further!!!
