Top notch cod and chips. We grabbed some food tonight before heading to Kynance Cove to watch the sun setting, really good chips and the cod was delicious.
Our thanks to the Smugglers for two delicious portions of Cod n Chips and well worth the short drive from Mullion Cove. Since our first visit in the early 80’s we’ve been back many times and have never been disappointed
Absolutely stunning Chippy, reasonable prices and excellent food. The Homemade Fishcakes were to die for and the curry sauce was out of this world. Used twice while down for the week on holiday and heartily recommend you don’t miss out. Can order on the phone and pickup later.
Used this fish and chip shop many times on holiday in cornwall and generally the food has been alright.Last time i thought the cod portions were small for £7.50 mind. This time, no cod at all at 6pm on a Saturday!.Add to that the wait time of 15 minutes to order, 3 people in the queue, and 15 minutes to serve. Only 2 staff were working. Rest assured you wont be getting anymore of my time or money! Top tip, use the chippy in Mullion!
Nice fish but very small for the price and the chips a tad greasy. There was a time when having fish and chips would fill you up and was a cheap meal, sadly this isn't the case here.Food: 3/5
A wise man once said "the further south you travel, the better the chippy will unravel." And nothing more could be said for Smugglers. If you're looking the freshest, most delicate, traditional fish and chips - Smugglers is the one for you. Rain or shine, Smugglers is always there to brighten your day. And when you're not feeling like fish, they have an outstanding array of options to choose from on their menu. I highly recommend trying the fried chicken, it's seasoned to perfection with a hint of citrus zest that tingle the taste buds. Have you ever re-visited a favourite restaurant, bakery or takeaway after years only to be lead down the narrow hallway of disappointment? Well after almost 10 years of revisiting Smugglers, the quality and excellence has never dipped. Consistency is key. My only negative point would be; once you've tried Smugglers, no other chippy will ever compare.
Just a word to the owner of Smugglers. The loser with the beard closes and locks up before he should. I had already paid for food and then the place was locked up when I returned at 7.50 pm to pick up my order. I was told that they close by the loser in question, at 8.00 pm. Finally a polite young man opened up the chip shop again and gave me my order. If the skinny bearded scroat doesn’t enjoy shovelling chips for a living, it’s not my fault. Go back to school or don’t bother. To be fair, he’s an expert at putting pickled onions in a bag but that’s where his skills end.
Fantastic Fish and Chips... if they have any locally caught Hake or Haddock try it - you can get Cod and Chips back at home.. and don't forget a chip butty and some mushy peas

Probably one of best fish and chips I've ever eaten.just got back home from a wonderful week on the lizard. Already booking for next year and another lovely box of your fish and chinkers..
