We had the meat combo with dirty fries and hot fries with drinks. 1 The mustard BBQ is a must try. They claim it is award winning and it's truly great 2 Prices are fair for the portion size. 3 Service could be improved. We waited a while until the waiter came by our table. We had to go and call them after waiting a while. We were seated on the second floor. 4 Hygiene is quite terrible. Bathroom was super dirty!!! Toilet papers on the floor. The restaurant has potential, but I wouldn't visit again. A couple of nearby restaurants serve the same type of food for better customer experience.
Dublin's take on real American BBQ The atmosphere and decor were really cool. Wood tables that looked like plywood and American music icons on the walls. The staff were very friendly. The BBQ was just alright. The brisket tasted like jerky and the pit beans tasted like chili. Neither of these were bad by any means, but not the flavors I would typically associate with these dishes. The buffalo chicken came with some kind of Doritos like chip, a strange choice but not terrible. Overall it didn't really taste like American BBQ, but it wasn't bad. Not what I would recommend though.
Came here for their ribs and they didn’t disappoint. The hospitality was 1st class. They consistently checked on me and all customers. Something which is rare these days. They had the most polite and amazing staff. I highly recommend them
The interior is very nice and cozy, it was super busy when we went so I would recommend booking ahead. However, we ordered our food and had to wait nearly an hour for it to come out. The fries were over cooked, the 12h slow cooked brisket wasn’t as soft as we thought it would be, however the pit master burger and onion rings were delicious and definitely worth ordering. Staff were so lovely and sweet, they were very apologetic over the food delay sounded like a kitchen backlog problem - not enough staff so honestly nothing bad to say. Worth a visit if you like burgers and meat and “American” themed food!
We had high expectations for this place because of how good the food looked. Unfortunately, the meat is extremely dry no matter how much sauce you add to it. I had the rack of ribs and the meat just crumbled in my mouth. The Mac in cheese could definitely use some salt as well. The service wasn't that great. The guy that seated us and took our order barely said two words to us and never checked in on us after that. However, there was a woman that was friendly and brought our check and was very nice and told us how to pay. The bathrooms are pretty dingy and they were out of handsome when I went. I then tried using the hand sanitizer downstairs and it was also empty.
Good music, better food. We just ate here and ordered the platter of bones. The meat just fell off the bones, the sauce bbq and other were delicious and had a smoky taste. You don't have to wait an eternity for your orders, and the service is nice and very obliging. The price is appropriate for the amount of food, and our wishes were granted other sides in a menu. I would recommend this restaurant for meat lover, smoker lover food is prepared in a smoker and fans of good old rock music..
Great place for BBQ food and a very quirky feel to the venue all quite dark with wooden and metal feature furniture! Staff are friendly and quick to help sort orders out for both food and drink! I had the Irish Beef Brisket in Sweet Guinness BBQ marinade with onion rings and coleslaw! My friend had the half rack of ribs with sides! The food was great and perfectly cooked.
3 of us went here, took one look at the menu, looked at each other and said "we're getting the bin lid platter aren't we?" We did and we don't regret it. The quantity of food you get is insane, you get 2 portions of big crispy BBQ wings, 2 racks of ribs, 2 portions of mac and cheese, pulled pork, onion rings, loaded fries, brisket, some other BBQ pork in a sauce and corn on the cob. But it's not just quantity, it's quality too, everything is delicious apart from the brisket, I didn't really like the mustard on it. The wings are unreal, as are the ribs. It was probably a bit too much food for 3 people but if you're going with maybe 4 or 5 people, you'd probably finish it all. The staff were all great and it was a memorable experience eating here.
Big enough portions, a bit expensive but nice food. We were all satisfied and full alongside sides. The chips were nice and crunchy but the mac and cheese was disappointing. The environment was cosy and well themed. There was a waitress that was a bit rude, made one in our party uncomfortable. Good flavours and convenient spot. Worth the visit, avoid busier days because theres not too many tables inside.
The brisket beef wasn't Juicy but the mac and cheese was good. Apparently in the afternoons it gets better the menu is more complete and everything. I went at 1:00 pm and they didn't have baby ribs. I Will be back in the afternoon.Food: 4/5
