Had a really nice lunch here yesterday. The staff were super helpful on arrival. Good choice on the menu, I had a burger with pulled pork. Very nice! Prices are around average, and good choice of beers too. Will defiantly be back!
It doesn't happen often, but this place was awesome. Attentive service... some of the best food I've had in a long time, yes it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it! I had the smokehouse breakfast, even though they had run out of beans , it was fantastic! A bowl overflowing with smokey luscious pulled pork, A massive sausage, I think it might have been boar, rashers of decent bacon , eggs, thick chunks of bread....OMG, I'm hungry again. I'm saving my pennies to go again. We'll done guys!!!
Top tier food!nnAn amazing meal. I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite.nnThe Pitmaster burger was an incredible stack. A thick juicy patty with superb flame grilled flavour. Beautiful pulled pork in a lovely sweet BBQ marinade. A generous pile OG pulled brisket and tasty smoked bacon.nThe chicken fillet was nice but didn't add much because it didn't have a crispy coating or significant seasoning. But it was probably just outdone by the other superb aspects of this stack!nDespite that and the lack of pickles this was still one of the best burgers I've had.nnJust as enjoyable were the ribs. So much meat for a half rack! Incredibly juicy meat with a fantastic marinade.nnA really pleasant place to eat, with delightful staff.
We dropped in by chance. It was on the map with rave reviews. We'd got caught in the rain and had a brilliant day out. The place was easy to find. It's gorgeous. Food was yummy. Plenty of choice and portions very kind. We called in very early but would imagine the place is bouncing at weekends. The decor was classy and chic. The place well presented and staff very attentive. They have this spot on. We attended with 4 kids and whilst not the cheapest for kids it was easy on the purse given that not a morsel was wasted. Highly recommended for a treat.
This is quite literally my favourite place to eat out. I adore the menu, and in my many visits I think I've now tried almost everything. A few favourites I keep coming back to are the boneless chicken wing starter with bourbon BBQ sauce, either the pulled pork or chicken waffles for my main, and if I think I can manage, the cookie dough dessert. Although I'm normally the designated driver, the un-pasteurised Staropramen is fantastic, as are the wide range of cocktails on the menu. The atmosphere is great, and we always feel very looked after by the staff who now recognise us when we come back. My kids also love the food and drinks, and we normally share a load of different starters between us. Every time we have people come to visit, we always take them to the Smokehouse as a treat!
