Loved it! Very nice barbecue restaurant. Lots of different options. We tried the Mac n cheese burger, which was really tasty, French fries I prefer sweet potato fries but those ones were sick. We also got the chilli hot dog, for chilli lovers is ideal. For dessert we tried the smores cookie sandwich, which was really tasty too! Prices are very normal for Glasgow. Staff are extreme friendly and helpful. They made our night! The atmosphere was a bit smokey but overall everything was amazing. Definitely recommended!!
mountains of meat! Had a great visit here. Glad we booked 8pm friday night - saw people getting told there was a wait. We decided on the sharing meat platter, and added three more sides on and that was more than enough for three of us!!! The food was generally good and tasty and the service was great ask for the desert board, adds to the experience only downfalls were the mac cheese lacked any flavour and the beer only comes in 1/2 pints or 2 pint jugs?!?!
Nice food with quick efficient service. Philly Cheese steak was excellent, the rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked good as well. Nice selection of drinks rounded off a good meal. Would definitely visit here again when in the area
Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Great for a couple or for a family meal. The portions are far from small and be prepared for the meat sweats! Haven't had anything that I haven't enjoyed and even the free popcorn is amazing! Some fantastic touches, like the bucket to was your hands in the toilet with an outdoor style tap! A bucket of beer served in a empty tin can, or the old washing machine drums they use for light shades. If you like BBQ, meat or just great food it is a must.
Great place and great food. I had the baby back ribs, chips and jalapeño corn bread. Ribs and cornbread were amazing. Didn't like the chips - too cooked for my taste. Would recommend to anyone and will go back and swap fries for some of the other fantastic sounding sides.
Really liked the food, the jars for pints or lack of pints were a bit silly, just serve pint glasses. Sharer plate was immense, the ribs, although well done were very tasty. The service was excellent and this place is definitely worth a visit. Big portions and great food, just get rid of the bar glasses with beer and it gets 5 stars.
Food was really tasty, service was quick and friendly. The turkey leg on the sharing platter was a little dry & would have preferred more ribs or sausages instead. I also thought the price of the sharing platter was excessive for what we got. Enjoyed the meal, was full by the end of it and would go back again.
Amazing food. Loved the crisp onion strings. Definitely going back for the sharing plate.
Service was good, portion sizes are good. Just lacked a bit. The philly cheese steak was just in a rubbish hot dog roll and it said smothered in cheese when in reality it had a drizzle along the top. None on the inside of the roll. Double cooked chips were OK but a lot of small bits in it. The jam jars for milkshakes are OK but for the rest of the drinks a normal glass would be good. Not everything needs to be quirky. Sometimes food can just go on a plate. Not a lump of old building material. Smoke smell in the place was fine not to strong.
We didn't have a reservation but were seated quickly. Drinks order taken - lots of variety from cocktails to beers and soft drinks. We ordered beef brisket, baby back ribs, sides of Texan toast and crispy onion strings. Meals come with twice-cooked chips. My brisket was delicious - tender and tasty, his ribs were good albeit slightly overcooked but he still enjoyed them and said they were good. Service was excellent, attentive enough but not in-your-face. Would definitely eat here again.
