Arrived this morning to park for a quick visit to Ludlow to find spaces in the car park but both pay and display machines refused to work for card payments. Not a great way to be welcomed to the place. Had no cash and was not prepared to download yet another car park app over very poor mobile phone signal. So left and won't return in a hurry. Just so inefficient.
Nice clean loos, good value on parking fees and quiet enough for a campervan sleepover.nI found the 15 min walk up the steep hill into the town centre a bit strenuous, but I have mobility& fitness issues.
Surface car park about 8 minutes uphill walk to the centre. Only 40p an hour 08-1800 maximum charge £3.20 with no charge overnight. Also benefits from loos onsite.
Super stop. Stayed overnight 18.00-08.00 free in my Motorhome. Cheap at £3.60 all day. Toilets free here too. Quiet and clean car park. Lovely short, 5 minutes walk to centre.
A short walk from car park into the shops/ castle area. Super cheap parking too, £2 for 5 hours
