Perfect from booking to car collection: Needed a Saturday booking on last minute basis as my MOT was about to expire. Booked online and then got a personalised email shortly after to confirm the booking and asked for my preferred time. On the booking day, the team was super friendly and process could not be smoother. Would definitely recommend and also use them for other car related services. Thanks again to the team
I booked the mot on a Thursday for the Saturday. They were polite to the point and most importantly passed my car. If I am in the area again and my car requires an MOT, I will be going back to them again.
I lost the whole day because of the glue on the mirror, I had to go to the garage twice to get the car. Very unprofessional. For a non-driving car used by a security company as a rain cab, they found a bunch of flaws. I don't recommend them, find a good service before you do your MOT service.
My car needed an MOT, but given the location and beautiful building I didn't think Smith & Hunter would do just an MOT. But I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! Not only could I book in for an MOT online the next day, they offered a range of times throughout the day. They could not have been more friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them. With Notting Hill tube station only 5 mins walk away they are a great asset for central London. Many thanks!
I needed a local MOT centre close by, found Smith & Hunter via Google. Managed to arrange on the same day, garage was extremely professional and accommodating at such short notice. I would definitely recommend and will be returning as and when’s needed.

Top notch. After some massive frustrations no availability, no timed MOT slots trying to get my car MOT'd at home 35 miles out of London, I decided to pick somewhere near work, and went with Smith & Hunter. Immediate availability next day, easy to book, job done quickly and the Churchill Arms pub around the corner for some lunch while I waited. Excellent and highly recommended. Thanks, guys!
Really great service, I had an MOT done and they were extremely helpful, providing honest and useful guidance on the car. Having alwayed used the franchise car dealer garage for years, Smith & Hunter was a refreshing experience and I will take my car there for its next service.
Smith & Hunter misdiagnosed my car’s fault electrical and proceeded to do a hatchet job on replacing the parts which didn’t need replacing mechanical. The car left Smith & Hunter in worse condition that it arrived in, and my wallet was considerably lighter. I took it straight back as it was obvious they had created a mechanical problem. They didnt want to know. Had to take it to main dealership/mechanic in the end and my bill was around 3k to fix the original problem and correct their hatchet job - most of that money spent on the latter. Second mechanic showed me the damage they had created. Truly shocking. Went back to Smith and Hunter. Again they didn’t want to know. DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE.
Needed a MOT urgently and was booked in with ease. Greeted by Khalid and his team who undertook a thorough look at the car. MOT was completed and they advised me on keeping an eye on my tyres as they were starting to show a little wear and we’re good for winter. Fast service and I was on my way in under an hour.
