Smiling Jacks, originally opened in 1995, is a small, independent Tex-Mex licensed restaurant situated on Stirling's lively Barnton Street.

Owner and head chef, Paul Morrison, is a local family man who has worked in some of the finest restaurants in and around Stirling and the Trossachs. Paul specialises in honest, home cooked traditional food using the best fresh locally sourced produce. With his enthusiasm and passion for quality food and service, you will not be disappointed.

The restaurant itself is brightly coloured with lively music and friendly staff which makes it a popular choice for lunch and dinner or an ideal venue for parties and celebrations. Our menu has an extensive range of appetisers, starters, light meals, and main dishes with desserts changing daily.

With a great range of imported beers, wines, premium Tequilas and cocktails, a night at Smiling Jacks is always one to remember!

Nice food and atmosphere, reasonably priced, would recommend and go again. Pulled pork nachos a must! Only draw back kids must leave before 8 due to licencing laws!!
Friendly staff who made sure that my guide dog had water as soon as we sat down the food in this lunch menu was tasty and well presented. Good value.

A good fun restaurant, the staff are very nice. Sadly just very disappointing, the food is not very authentic texmex... I see the irony in that statement too, but it just doesn't live up to other restaurants. I do hope it improves but I have been a few times since it changed hands and always leaves me disappointed.
