Great service from staff although design layout could be better of the store as when busy customers were falling over one another. Till could do with being situated at rear of store. School bags are amazing so inventive with inner pockets for pens/pencils plus handy side drink holders, also great size with plenty of room. My girl loves it!
If You guys are looking for school stationary such as bags, water bottles, pen and so on. This is the best destination for it. Awesome collection in a small simple area arranged very well and neat. I just bought a box and it cost is 15 pounds only. They probably provide an extra off sale also. So recommended for school apparatuses.
Took my nice for her birthday. Alex was a massive help and made her feel so special. Thanks you, she left a very happy little girl
A bit like the air up bottle, just made up of 'hype' and craze, a designer's business, not much a stationary business. The quality of stationary is worse than a supermarket's own. Most of the times you end up there because you want your kids to fit in and not feel left out - not because the they sell amazing quality. Kenji has just opened a huge store next doors to smiggle. The current store isn't going to survive the competition Imho unless they change something.
Great shop just bought my daughter a travel bag from here. The staff are also very friendly and nice will be back next year to get some more bits!
We were forced into here by our 6 year old who had birthday money burning a hole in her pocket! I don't understand the craze to be honest but she was happy and very careful about what she spent! Items were no better than unbranded items but kids are kids and they want what they want! No doubt we will have to go again at some point, but until then we have no need to visit there thankfully
A few months ago I bought my son in to the Trafford centre smiggle. It was bank holiday Monday and he has Autism so it was fairly busy. The gentleman working at smiggle must have noticed my son had special needs & approached me asking whether my son would have a better experience if he turned the music down, as my son had ear defenders on. We declined as my son was coping well, but I thought this was a lovely gesture. It was a positive experience that I still think of, as we've had a lot of unpleasant experiences previously, I will always remember how accommodating he was without being asked. I wish I took his name so I could address him personally on the review.
Excellent service! Having already been to two Smiggle stores looking for a particular bag my daughter wanted, we arrived here with little hope... As expected the bag in question wasn't to be found. Two members of staff had a look in the back but to no avail. Just as one of them was trying to convince my daughter to pick another bag, a young member of staff heard our dilemma and decided to take charge. She checked the back again, then called Selfridge's I didn't even know that they stocked Smiggle, then proceeded to check other stores nearby. After another call, she managed to find the bag my daughter wanted and put it on hold for us... Another 30min drive for me, but a very very happy little girl after some brilliant customer care. Shame we didn't get her name, but hopefully they keep staff willing to do that but extra where they can.
What a fabulous shop! Just love all the stationary, it always looks well stocked and organised. The staff are incredibly warm, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The manager Nikki is a real credit to this store, I’ve never seen anyone with so much enthusiasm whilst serving customers and she’s fantastic with the kids
Very small shop, but have some great stuff but pricing is ridiculous. I got two lunch boxes and two cups just under 50 pound with a ten percent discount. So was quite a shock as pricing isn't really available for all items. They need to over to a bigger location and bring the prices down!
