Great service. Well organised. Environment clean. The staff friendly, nice, accommodating and supportive. I went there for Visa capturing; even though that I went 2hours early, I was attended to immediately. I can recommend them.
First floor of the Smethwick library is one of the Visa Centre point for biometric and documentation submission as per UKVCAS. From the ground floor there is small lift for those who cannot able to use the staircase such as elder adults, parents carrying infants in strollers, etc. Ground floor is the library. Inside the pantry there are two toilets which are accessible friendly for disabled users. Bus stops are at the door steps of the library. The next building is the Gurudwara. A must visit temple. On the same road, there are some grocery shops.
Lovely staff who spend all afternoon searching for free food options for an unfortunate homeless lady. The book selection is pretty decent but still on the smaller side.
Went there to visit the UKVI service and it was extremely efficient and fast. Also very easy to arrive from the train station literally 2 mins away walking!
A good library that offers snack's/beverages on selected day's of the week..plenty of parking facilities 50 yard's off the main road ..all the usual facilities available like computers ..book loans and photo copying.......
A beautiful and ancient library, but the area needs cleaning inside. It is a little noisy and the toilets need cleaning, but the services are good.
Very courteous and helpful people I was printing a document and I was charged a very minuscule 52pence for the copies. Any cyber cafe would have easily charged me 3£ or more , they also have a small cafe and clean toilets

Well equipped library with different activities for children. The staff are the best I have ever encountered, always polite and willing to help.
I have been visiting this dismal library for the past 5 years, and this place hasn't improved one bit since then. The staff are clueless, or seem to be very arrogant when it comes to dealing with enquiries. The toilet facilities are disgusting; no hand wash and not allowed to use it if someone is desperate; the computers are very outdated; books are very old and limited in choice; ordering and making a stock suggestion gets you a big no in response; the opening times are appalling; canteen is filthy and small as well as being occupied by rude school pupils who just come in and start making a racket; there are hardly any worthy study areas where you can study quietly; windows are shut at all times and members of the public are shouting effing this and that with friends and on mobile phones constantly in the presence of staff; parents and little one's in the library itself. This library needs improving drastically in my humblest opinion!!!
