I was late to my appointment, so the hairdresser said he wouldn't be able to blow dry it at the end because he was fully booked for the day(fair enough). However the entire experience was completely rushed. He took no care in washing or cutting my hair, throwing it about and constantly tugging at it with his brush. He didn't even cut with the parting on the right side of my head. When I got home and blow dried it myself it looked absolutely dreadful. I was so upset that I immediately went to another hairdressers to fix it. This hairdresser told me the damage that had been done- the back was completely uneven, with both the layers and the overall head of hair being cut at completely different lengths. Instead of the shaping around the face that I had requested, a chunk of hair had been cut at a short length at one side of my face, whilst the other side was a completely different length. There was also no cutting into my hair whatsoever, which any hairdresser can tell is important for my hair as it is quite thick. Therefore the cut was very dramatic and the layers looked even more ridiculous. This second hairdresser had to cut my hair even shorter than I had originally requested in order to fix the damage that had been done. Overall I am not pleased at having to pay for two haircuts- and will obviously never return to this hairdresser and will advise others to do the same.
