As an Ellen Terry fan this is the most amazing house. So interesting and full of incredible artifacts and treasures. Please visit and support. Fingers crossed I'll see a performance next year in the Barn Theatre.
Very welcoming, helpful volunteers. A small tucked away place set in the Kent countryside. Children made to feel welcome. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours learning about Ellen Terry.

Very nice there worth a visit
Impressive house which has managed to function despite COVID. Impressive gardens too, parking on the main road in echelons so be careful.
Lovely place, I was a little thrown by the parking in the lay by but it works well. The little ones loved exploring the orchard, we loved the theatre, house and church!
An old house full of charm. The place tells the story of Ellen Terry's life and is a good museum for those that like theater costumes.
A small but interesting National Trust place to visit
