Huge rooms very traditional and classic in style. Thought it very sweet to have complimentary tayto crisps. The staff are just so lovely the receptionist drew us a map and she had so much patience for us as we must of asked a few ridiculous questions. there was great vibes in the evening with live music. The breakfast buffet is huge and a small section for gluten free. Definitely worth the extra €20 to upgrade. Great amenities so close to town would defo stay again
We stayed in this hotel for weekend celebrating my 60th birthday & also our 36th wedding anniversary. The staff went all out & gave me a lovely surprise on arrival in our room. The hotel decor is outstanding, very clean, well presented, and really helpful staff. Great distance from town & right beside bus & train station. Beautiful relaxing weekend for us both. Thank you,we will be back.
Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel!nnI’m extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Upon checking in, I found poop marks left in the toilet bowl and toilet seat! It is disgusting! Several lights didn’t work, the water pressure was awful, and to top it off, the room mirror fell off the wall. When I spoke to the duty manager, Louise, she was completely unhelpful and dismissive. This is absolutely unacceptable – I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Especially with 4 star- hotel expectations.
All top marks.. beside bus station. Perfect for our week's hike on the Sligo Way of 80km.. well worth doing twas beautiful area and people we meet friendly and helpful. Hotel food was thoroughly enjoyable and fresh.. self service breakfast fabulous. Brigid and Carmel
Filthy rooms, was offered a change but the next room was as bad and the manager claims when they checked before they showed us to the room the dirt wasn't there, which can only lead to me believing they are dirt blind and poor old henry has not hit the performance targets for a long time, the floor looked like it hasn't been hovered in the last year, hair of all sorts in the bath tub and the toilet wasn't much better, I was terrified to walk with nothing on my feet, though the restaurant wasn't bad for the cost and the service staff though young where very competent, their inexperience made up by their effort to please the customer.nIt's a real pity as I could see this hotel has loads of potential. this establishemnt was contacted 4 times through email and all 4 ignored it has been 6 weeks so one can only assume this is the norm from this establishment, I would add if you have any weakened immune system or ill health of any kind stay miles away.
