What a great experience! When you walk in you're warmly greeted by the two chefs who are also the owners. I went for the 3 course meal with 5 people. The staff are very friendly. So for the food. When you arrive there are two types of butter presented to you. And when you've ordered they will bring you freshly baked bread which smells amazing! It's a nice appetiser. For the amuse-bouche we were given Rabbit pasty with a cauliflower dish. They paired very well together. The cauliflower thing helped to fight the gamey taste of the rabbit. For starters I had the Scallops with chicken wings and texture of salsify. Scallops were Cooked beautifully, they weren't rubbery and tasted great. The chicken wing they gave helped to balance the seafood taste and was very soft. To complete the dish the salsify is needed to bring the different textures form the soft parts to the crunchy roasted ones. Amazing The main I had was the poussin and my goodness it was moist, juicy, tender and full of flavour! The barley and sauce were great with it. This was definitely the highlight For dessert the soufle was nicely risen, it was soft and sweet and just enough to satisfy. My only complaint is that I wish I had more ice cream. Overall a great dining experience that I would love to come visit for different menus. Other food that I got to try was the braised cheek and filet steak which were all nice and tender.
Without a doubt the best meal we’ve had in years! Every course was perfect and complimented the previous one and sets you up for the next one. We had the tasting menu and we weren’t disappointed. Cannot recommend the restaurant enough. Intimate, amazing service and the best quality ingredients and menu. Surely a star is deserved!
Absolutely fabulous meal best food we've eaten for years. Arrived for our meal and greated warmly by the chef and owner downstairs, waitress very friendly, engaging and informative about the menu. Food was spectacular, from presentation to taste definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Book in advance as Slice gets booked up fully, we've been looking to visit for sometime and definitely it lived up to our expectations. Well done Slice and thank you for a really nice evening
I’ve been to slice a few times over the last few years and every time it blows me away. I have never been disappointed and neither have the people I’ve been with. The food is simply spectacular, the service is warm, helpful and kind and I love the cosy vibes of the restaurant. 1000/10 recommend. Dietary restrictions: Always ask when you book about any allergies and requirements so imagine they will try and cater to you as best as they can
Michelin quality meal in the village of Sketty! Slice was a very pleasant surprise for my wife and I celebrating her birthday tonight. An interesting and tasty menu full of flavorful surprises. Their three course meal had some innovative and delicious choices. The haddock was moist and flavorful. My chocolate mousse was to die for. Great wine pairings and service. Thanks for a memorable evening.
The food was stunning, the staff were very friendly. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the waitress explained what we were eating perfectly. Would high recommend the tasting menu. Dietary restrictions: Good with gluten free
I didn't take any photos of my food but I went for a 3 course meal at lunch to celebrate my anniversary with my partner and Slice did not disappoint. It's a small restaurant but I assume this is what allows them to deliver such a high standard, the food and service was impeccable. It was the perfect experience from start to finish and the best food I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. If you're reading this umming and arring if to go. Please call up and book a table, you don't need to take my word for it but this place is a solid 10/10 You will feel like royalty!

Absolutely stunning! Hands down the best food we have had across the whole of the UK. Lovely intimate but non-fussy setting made the atmosphere comfortable and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Best food in Swansea. The current tasting menu is excellent. Pinot gris was a brilliant wine and the tempranillo was also superb. Great service with good explanation of the various courses. Also amuse bouche and fresh bread starter included.
