"Sleningford Watermill is a family friendly 14-acre campsite set beside the River Ure. We have been welcoming caravans, campers and families to this beautiful part of Yorkshire for over forty-five years. A fantastic destination for nature lovers, our park is a haven for wildlife and guests can be sure to see many native animals and plants during their stay. Our season runs from the 1st April until the 31st October each year although if Easter weekend falls in March we open early!. Please note that our opening hours listed on Google only apply during our open season. During the closed season we can still be contacted by email or by phone, but we may not always be available."

The hosts were fantastic. Since we had a young dog with is and the weather being hot recently, we asked for a shady spot for our 2 week stay and they did food. We were put on a pitch with a lovely canopy of trees to keep the pooch and the tent cool. Only negative thing is that the toilet lights are too bright at night . This is the 3rd year coming here and highly recommend.
Such a beautiful campsite, we loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. The managers were so helpful, especially when our bunk bed broke and they found us some wood and supplied us with a drill to fix it. We will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5

Fantastic spot for camping, caravans, and kayaking on the river, too, if you bring your own boat and look after your own safety. It is best to book well in advance as very popular, but not overcrowded. Have already recommended to several people.Location: 5/5
We stayed for 2 nights in the non-electric bit in a lovely spot near the river. Really nice would definitely recommend it. The owners were super friendly and there's a little shop selling all sorts of bits. Amenities are spot on really all you need. We even got a 10% off food voucher for a pub which was a 30 min walk away. Really nice part of the country would definitely recommend.
Great campsite. The couple running it are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. Facilities are clean and a great standard. Good sized pitches. A great place if you just want to relax or use the campsite as a bace for days out in the area.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely stunning site. Spotlessly clean. Great location and fab staff. Needed to borrow a few bits to fix an awning. Very helpful. Only 10 minutes drive to Ripon and Masham. Definitely call againLocation: 5/5
Lovely campsite in beautiful surroundings. The site is pitch only,pitch with electric and camper van with electric hook up . The river ure runs through the site and you can fly fish free of charge,but you have to go early morning to avoid swimmers and kayakers. There is a small shop onsite. The shower block and pot wash are close by. There is a country pub about a 20 minute walk away with a garden alongside the river.
Lovely camp site, in a wonderful area. If you want to play on the river this is a great place to go. Likewise if you want to explore.Service: 5/5
What a wonderful campsite by the river, plenty of space even at busy times, great to see space given over to nature rather than adding extra pitches. I had made a mistake with my booking turned up a day late and the staff were so helpful, thank you Great spot, great memories.
