I recently from here to a school in England. I’m not going to say which one as I may get in trouble with my school. I miss the students, food, lessons, and teachers. Every single quality of this school is amazing, I would 110% recommend this school. Compared to my new school, which is absolutely abysmal in comparison, and in general, I genuinely wish I could just move back here forever. Take your child to this school instead of the Academy or Cambridge House, as you or your child will not regret it. SAVE ME FROM THIS TERRIBLE NEW SCHOOL I BEG
Everyone giving low stars just hates school in general, I've left school for over a year now and it was good craic honestly so here's the pros and cons from my experiencennPros: A really good ratio of good teachers you'll find bad/annoying teachers in any schoolnGood food and selectionnSome nice spots for groups of friends if you know your way aroundnEasy to navigate once you've been to each departmentnEasy to learn if you actually put your head downnGood number of busses going to and from the schoolnnCons: foods a bit pricey for the portions of itnNothings ever really done about bullyingnWith some teachers it's hard to get out when you're sicknVERY strict about phones so find your hiding spot during break and lunchnSome uncomfortable chairs which can cause back pain after a whilenWhen I was there it was hard to access the toilets because half the time they were locked or crowdednVery easy to get detentionnStrict uniform policynNot sure if it's still a problem but there used to never be enough busses especially to antrim, antrim needed the most busses say 2 doubles and a single would do but they never brought enough in so either you stood or teachers would take you off the bus and you'd have to wait 30 mins for a bus to pick everyone left behind upnDrink wise either you have water or drinks sold AT the school, nowhere else
This school is amazing involveing most things you need amazing teachers just the best school ever :
Amazing school!nDrama and music are outstanding and production values are high. I enjoyed my two years of school life with slemish college.
I had fun there and learned a bit but it could greatly improve.nin sixth form it only seemed to cater for those who excelled in the exams, not a mention of those who didn't.
