First time visit today for Easter egg hunt starting out back in the house and gardens. Great cafe and farm shop experience. Egg hunt could have been clearer on this occasion but once we found the right area the experience much improved with fun activities, chick handling and egg and spoon races! Walled garden looked great, and I will return later in the year to seeing at its best

Great shop and cafe. Expensive! I say expensive but the quality of food is outstanding and you'll be helping the local economy, so I've happily paid the extra, plus this place is miles away from any substantial town or city so you can see why things cost a bit more. It's busy all year round but there is ample parking so there's no issue.

The farm shop is quite small but does stock some nice quality goods. Fresh bread and a decent cheese selection. A lot of the produce is local including a selection of craft beer. A bit on the pricey side. The cafe is good with well cooked food which once again appears to be locally sourced. Good value.

The House was closed today but we were given a very warm welcome in the café (delicious coffee & teacake offer), gift shop & farm shop. They've got it so well organised & it makes a delightful day out for adults & children alike. There's even free wi-fi in the café. Do go along & see for yourselves.

Great countryside, nice location. Cafe is OK, service is slow. Shop is expensive but it had some different stuff from the run of the mill.
