Bought a kilt for our wedding from here. Staff all very knowledgeable and took the time to allow us to try multiple outfits on and help us decide. Rent price is also very reasonable!

We were recommended this place. However when entered all three shop floor assistants were playing Rock Paper Scissors with each other giggling like little girls. We were not approached nor greeted just ignored. I made my way to the back of the store where eventually one of the assistants asked if I needed help. Needless to say I did not bother as I felt their customer attention was appalling and all 3 of us left the shop.

We were attending a wedding on 9/7/17. Our son has his own kilt and required a jacket/waistcoat/tie and flashes for his socks. Went to the shop in June to have him fitted as he wouldn't be available when uplifting the hired goods prior to wedding. Disappointingly jacket didn't fit and wrong tie. I can't understand how you can get something so simple wrong when it's allegedly your business.

There are many kilt shops in Glasgow and then there is Slanj. Slanj are to kilts as Islay is to whisky.There is no better in my humble opinion for quality of product to excellent customer service.I bought my full highland dress from Slanj many years ago and it is still going strong,has been worn too many times to mention and borrowed by my kids for ceilidh dances.You get what you pay for and everything from Slanj is the best.I have recently just got my eldest son a kilt and Slanj tartan trews from here also.They also do a fantastic t-shirt range here,I have a black lion rampant one and I always get asked about it when I wear it.An 11/10 from this very happy Slanj customer.
