My wife had the fish cakes. I had the haddock and chips. My oldest daughter had the club sandwich. My youngest had the mac and cheese. All the portions were big and filling, and the quality was top notch. Service was wonderful as well. Definitely recommend!
Lovely place right beside the train station. We just got coffee here, but the staff were lovely and it is a great space to sit down and escape the rain! Cakes and food sounded/looked great as well. Definitely recommend! Lots of parking available too.
Really good Mac and cheese. My husband had seabass which was also really good. Highly recommend for a relaxed atmosphere meal out. The also have a coffee and cake selection so worth paying a visit in the day too if you just want a tea and scone. Parking: Lots of parking
The staff was really great, so was the food. Well presented and tasted great! I also got a great local whisky suggestion. The decoration and songs were also beautiful and pleasant. Just as improvement point the ice cream could be a bit better. I recommend it!
Steak pie and fish absolutely delicious. Fish fresh each day and steak pie homemade although not full pie just topper, if that bothers you. Homemade chips too! Staff really friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend if your passing.
A really beautiful place indoor and outdoor both, they have converted a church into a restaurant, it is quite big, the menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The food portions are huge, only order soup and main if you are really Hungary, can't recommend more, book in advance, it is worth paying a visit.
This is our second time at Slanj with our first being back in February 2022. The amazing quality has not changed. The portions are big and a perfect size to fill you comfortably. During our first visit due to the time of year there was only two members of staff out front and one chef but this did not stop the quality of the dinning experience. The food was just as amazing as our second visit and the staff are always friendly and helpful any way they can be. The restaurant is also dog friendly with its very own dog menu that has three meals and a desert on offer. A special mention to Jack who served us both times and is extremely friendly, hard working and helpful.
Tasty food, but you have to wait a bit for it. However everything was fresh. Great service. Place is clean
Excellent fish and chips, best one I've had in a very long time! Friendly staff and reasonable prices! Couldn't have been better!
an absolutely amazing place. Food and staff were exceptional and there was a bit on the menu for doggies! Our dog loved his meal, scoffed before we were half way thru ours. Definitely will be back!
