If you like furniture, wood, craftsmanship, art and design then you will love looking around Sladers yard. There are some beautiful pieces of furniture on display. Prices match the quality and time that would have been spent making them so don't expect the prices to match those found in your average department store! The setting is quite rustic and suits the gallery perfectly, they also have a cafe which had a nice ambiance and seems reasonably priced. We didn't however eat there so I can't comment on the quality of service.

Good selection of soups, salads and snacks served in wonderful surroundings with solid wood tables and chairs and fantastic art works. Coffee and cakes were delicious. The gallery upstairs is well worth a visit even if you are unlikely to pay £12k for a dining table.

A great location with wonderful food and there are always interesting exhibits to look at. We recently enjoyed the Clare Trenchard artworks along with the exquisite Petter Southall furniture. Sladers Yard is always on our list of places to visit when we are in West Bay.
