Great night life , Great crowds, excellent food in the restaurant downstairs the Langhorne Hotel check there Web site on Google maps , lovely food always a must for Sunday roast all freshly cooked, new menu, staff are very friendly and welcoming
Another great stay at The Portland Hotel, the highlight as always being Chef Jack's cracking gourmet burgers. I had the 'Smokey Mac' burger. Juicy burger topped with mac n cheese croquettes and the best chunky chips going.
Had a Sunday dinner here. By far the best Sunday dinner I have eaten!! Absolutely lovely!! Staff very attentive, couldn't do enough for us!! X x
Great place to go to on a Sunday afternoon as live music. Food is good drink is good and very friendly staff !
Wednesday night, after the Frank Turner gig, I came to this pub/bar as I was in desperate need of a phone charger. Besides that, the most important part was I had to get a flight at 7am from Gatwick to Kerry Airport Ireland. After managing to pass through the busy pub, I managed to meet Jess who I believe to be a manager and another lass behind the bar who were both more than willing to help me out- even though they were so busy. I had a very pleasant visit- and the team were too supporting the neighborhood in terms of noise after hours. As an Irish lad, the Guinness was perfect, and the whiskey was largely satisfactory too. Big shout out to the team working on Wednesday! Sláinte is táinte! X
Super friendly bar with a great selection of food and drink. The negative reviews about staff attitude just don’t ring true for me - couldn’t be more welcoming whenever I’ve been there and I’ve never seen anyone have an ounce of trouble.
Once you get past feet sticking to the floor and basic decor the food was really good. Had a Sunday roast in downstairs restaurant, lovely atmosphere, fabulous food and friendly waiter. Food was amazing and huge portions so make sure you are hungry!
Great place to sit and relax. Near to the beach and close to busy shops. Food was good and tasty. Lager was £5 a pint for Barcelona which is pricey. Other lagers available. Heaters outside for when it gets cooler. Busy on the weekend's.
Probably one of the most displeasure bar and restaurants I have been to made a complaint about the uncooked chicken and was give a refund and to we would not get served again with it drink by a member of staff !!! Great customer services ask for the manager and he was very rude we spoke to him kindly you would have we were asking him for a kidney which all have perfect ones for your own health please don’t visit this place
Had birthday celebrations there recently and have to say how very lovely and accommodating the staff were, we kind of took over the outside veranda area and they treated us spectacularly well, couldn't do enough. Highly recommend 5* service all round.
